Teacher of the Year
The Humboldt Education Foundation is presenting the Teacher of the Year celebration at the Prescott Resort on March 27th. Nominated by the students, teachers from each school in the HUSD will be recognized and two will be selected as Teachers of the Year.

Hungry Kids Project
Inspired by board member Carm Staker, the founder of the Hungry Kids Project, we serve the children in the Humboldt Unified School District that have been recommended by school staff as those who may not have access to adequate weekend meals. Students are provided enough food for 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners over the weekend.

Scholarships and Grants
As HEF continues to grow, we are pleased to now offer teacher mini-grants to help support classroom projects and also help to support student scholarships for those in need to further their education after high school.
