The Humboldt Unified School District “Teacher of the Year” program is sponsored by the Humboldt Education Foundation (HEF) and recognizes the most outstanding HUSD teachers.
The Teacher of the Year banquet will be held on April 23rd, 2026 (doors open at 5:30 p.m., event starts at 6:00 p.m.) at The Warehouse Event Center (doors open at 5:00 p.m.). The K-6 and 7-12 Teacher of the Year nominees will be celebrated and one finalist from each category will be selected as the HUSD Teacher of the Year.
